Hello to all.

New to NOF, very glad I found this site. Having the same problem that others have experienced in NOF 10, namely trying to create a form so that visitors to site can comment, comments will be mailed to me with their mail address (that's the plan).

Ran up against "FormsHandler.xml could not be opened. Please check that the file exists as named." (also for EmailPage.xml). Tried local publish, publish components, transfer files to server, put 127.0.0.1 as SMTP, replaced this with my own external SMTP server ip address, filled in both' from' and 'to' mail addreses, used 'get' rather than post as form format.

Unlike others, there was no formshandler.xml in the location specified. Created a blank xml file and put "GO" into it. No Luck.

Have seen reference to Micah's flash tut - can someone give a link & I'll go through this. Or any other ideas appreciated.

At the minute, when hitting submit on the online form, responds with "An error occured. Please contact the site administrator. Error code: 500". If I publish locally, then hit submit, I'm taken to "NetObjects Fusion 11.0\User Sites\IT23\Local Publish\scripts\FormHandler.php"

Help - tearing hair out Sad

Thanks in advance

here is the link to the flash file.
I would start from scratch on the form. Make a new page, and start from there.
If you have the error again let me know.

And the other tutorials I have are here: http://learnnof.com/nof_tutorials.html
